Who is The Crafty Kitchen?
The Crafty Kitchen is run by husband and wife team, Sarah & Nathan Garland. Sarah started the business in 1998, having always turned her hand to many crafts her interest in cake making came along as it does for many, by 'having a go' at making cakes for their children. Sarah's creations were soon admired by many and order requests started to come in, from there the business grew rapidly to the great success story that it is today. Nathan, soon saw that his wife needed some help and asked her to teach him to bake. So now days, when not driving his train Nathan does the majority of the baking and washing up!
Sarah is a respected artist in her field with her work published in several magazines and online cake appreciation blogs. She takes great joy from teaching her craft to others and hosts both small group and private classes. Her excellent reputation led her to being invited to judge at The Welsh Sugarcraft Show and she is very proud to have several celebrity clients within her portfolio of customers.
Sarah is an Ambassador for Sugar Press by Crafty Designs and fully endorses their products.

St Athan is in easy access of Cowbridge and Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales.
The Crafty Kitchen is registered with the Vale of Glamorgan County Council's Environmental Health Department, and holds the highest food hygiene rating of 5. Sarah and Nathan also hold a Level 2 qualification in food hygiene and safety.
Please note: Our cakes contain: Gluten (flour), Milk, Butter, Eggs and may contain possible traces of nuts (we are not a nut free kitchen). Allergy information will be taken at the point of order.
